The production process at Morica Design is characterized by the use of high-quality, eco-friendly materials. These include FSC-certified wood, EDP-compliant leather, and natural marbles, alongside non-toxic varnishes and eco-sustainable packaging. The brand employs advanced, low-impact manufacturing technologies to minimize its environmental footprint while maintaining a focus on artisanal detail.

With over forty years of experience in home furnishing and furniture production, Morica Design has made sustainability a fundamental pillar of its corporate philosophy. Now in its second generation, the company has grown while maintaininga clear vision: to produce environmentally friendly quality furniture, both in terms of materials and processes. Thanks to consolidated know-how, Morica is committed to choosing eco-friendly materials such as FSC© Chain of Custody certified wood and natural finishes, ensuring each product has a reduced environmental impact. Production takes place exclusively in Italy, focusing on optimizing resources, from design to finished product, to create furniture that combines style, sustainability, and durability.

The production process of the Parentesi Bookcase is a journey that starts with the selection of the finest woods — which undergo a double brushing to obtain smooth yet natural surfaces — and ends with the application of marmorino — a fine plaster that confers an elegant and rich-in-detail texture. Each layer of marmorino is meticulously hand-applied in three stages to achieve a concrete-like effect of great visual and tactile impact.
