Julius Caesar Book

This exquisite 200-page book is part of an exclusive series of 499 numbered volumes entirely hand-made and printed on a 220 gr/mq paper. Each page is stitched by master craftsmen using wooden frames of the type used in the Middle Ages. The binding is executed by hand using red-dyed leather and the finest Italian silk. The two covers are in leather with a central hand-made bas-relief in copper with a gold finish. This unique book by German historian Theodor Mommsen is in Italian (English translation available upon request) and describes the life and exploits of Julius Caesar. This precious object is adorned with 152 incisions and 5 lithographies.
