Raised with Spikes Plate

This Plate features a unique design and an exciting bright red glaze graces its surface. Its unconventional shape and color are inspired by the futurist movement. This piece was designed by a fourth generation potter, Tullio Mazzotti, following in the footsteps of generations before him who collaborated with numerous futurists at the height of the Italian Futurist movement. This raised plate is glazed in its entirety including its supporting spikes thanks to the inverted manner in which It was fired. The central decoration was achieved during shaping.
