The Grand Salon Concept
Meyer Davis presents La Sirena—a Grand Salon where allure meets mystery. The studio wanted to explore the ways in which classical palazzo interiors could be presented as an ode to Italian modernity.
Drawing inspiration from the myth of the siren and the echoes of an opulent past, La Sirena is designed to be an immersive space suspended between past and present, fantasy and reality. At its heart, four intimate seating arrangements foster conversation and movement, layered with curated objects and art for discovery. A muted palette, veined stones, and textured metals interplay with the frescoed ceiling, while sculptural lighting and reflective surfaces create a hypnotic dance of light and shadow.
The Grand Salon is not merely a space to be observed, but one to be felt, touched, and experienced—a homage to the delicate balance between beauty and danger.
