Black Moon 'Phase Marble Candle

This piece evokes the phases of the moon as it is opened and closed. The lid and the container allow the stratifications of sedimentation to emerge from the lines of the stone, which come together each time it is closed. Granitoid rock, medium-grained of dark grey-black veins with delicate white textures. The uniqueness of the minerals creates surprising, irregular colors/chromatism.
