Cell 3 Sculpture

A creative exploration of textures and organic shapes characterizes Angelica Tulimiero’s unmistakable style. This intricate, organically shaped ceramic sculpture is modeled exclusively by hand using the ancient colombino technique (known as cooking) and fired in the kiln at 1260 °C to set the glossy ivory enamel glaze. The interior has a darker color, added during the hand-molding stage as is the glass that fills the punctured surface, resulting in an incredible visual effect.
