Mouches À L'Apéro Painting

This series explores the theme of insects, specifically flies, inspired by decorative motifs in Art Nouveau, resembling wallpaper designs. The material used is paper, which is glued onto canvas or wood. Patterns are created with a copperplate press, followed by painting with alcohol-based colors and pigments, often leaving traces of charcoal sketches. The artistic research focuses on recovering a lost memory, originating with the birth of humanity and early cave paintings.
