Foresta Painting

An art exhibition dedicated to life and nature hosted in the Ducal Palace in Pistoia, Tuscany offered artist Alice Corbetta the opportunity to craft a landscape of tree trunks on this stunning painting fashioned of wood. Inspired by the forest as a place to lose and find oneself, it is the result of a mix of techniques and materials where shimmering gold leaf, copper, and oxides alternate with black bole bands to replicate the rich tones of tree bark. Delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
