African Skull Figurative Painting

This work is part of the "Skull Africa" series, representing both the human skull in profile and the map of the African continent. The material used is paper, which is glued onto canvas or wood. Patterns are created with a copperplate press, followed by painting with alcohol-based colors and pigments, often leaving traces of charcoal drawing. The artistic research focuses on recovering a lost memory, originating with the birth of humanity and early cave paintings.
