Tondo Doni Metropolis Clear Vase

Flagship article of the Tondo Doni collection 2008. It's made with 15 kilograms of pure crystal with over 24% lead, blown and cut completely by hand and has the height of 40 cm. Paradigm of cosmopolitan design, Metropolis is conceptual aesthetic. It expresses the aspiration to growth and construction. Metaphor of absolute peace. Suspended between cubism and modernism, the vase is made in a limited edition of 500 numbered pieces. This is the creation chosen by Mario Cioni, and C., author of the collections Tondo Doni and Mario Cioni, to celebrate the 50 years since its founding in 1958.
