Wabi-Sabi Metal Stones Curly Vase

This unique vase is crafted by hand using a mixture of brown refractory clay and medium grain chamotte in an irregular spherical shape with a small opening on top. This shimmering, iridescent metallic finish is obtained by firing the glazed object several times at different temperatures, a technique that creates a surface evocative of lava stones. The imperfections reflect the Wabi-Sabi philosophy of beauty as imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Not suitable to contain water.
