Noaidi Rug by Sebastian Jansson

Hand-knotted entirely in India using wool and viscose threads, this rug is titled Noaidi after the ancient healers and protectors in Nordic Sami tribe and captures the beauty and simplicity of long-forgotten traditions. Set within an octagonal frame in red and orange lines, the rug is marked by the yellow Nordic runes that dominate the composition, seemingly floating in the deep blue background. This superb design by Sebastian Jansson features 120 knots by inch with 8mm-high pile. Other sizes are available upon request.
