Tazze Painting

Named after the Italian word for 'cups', this unique contemporary painting is handmade using a mixed media technique by artist Giusto Pilan. The process involves shaping the subjects with an intaglio press, removing them from their naturalistic context, and placing them in a metaphysical space. The subjects are then filled with a composite of marble dust, wax, and pigments, which are fired onto the paper surface.
