Green Velvet Pillow

Drawing from the antique Venetian tapestry tradition, textile artist Anna Paola Cibin created this series of unique silk velvet pillows painted and decorated by hand using natural pigments and colored paste. Velvet is chosen for its fluid texture and shimmering quality, that enhances the dance of color and forms. This rectangular pillow boasts a geometric motif of blue and green circles on a gray background with three lime green diamond shapes in the center. The border is decorated with blue fringe and the reverse is in solid green.
