Chain Side Table by Bethan Laura Wood

"Chain" is made using multiple donut bricks, cut into two parts and threaded through the centre of another. The curved and polished end details of the cut brick are a nod towards the painted ends found in many Japanese wooden temples. In this period of time when most travel is on pause Bethan took this opportunity to reflect on her adventures over the last two years in Asia, and use the interlocking glass components to reference the amazing joinery she photographed.
