Donna Carmela Vase

A stunning work of art, this sculpture of a Moorish woman's head features a crown and a rich decoration of flowers and fruit. This design is a modern interpretation of the traditional Moor head, an iconic decorative motif in Sicilian art that dates back to the Arab conquest of Sicily in the 9th century. The artist has finished the piece in matte white with the insert of gold leaf to mark vertically one side of the face. This superb vase can be displayed with or without flowers, as a one-of-a-kind decoration in a contemporary or eclectic home. The vase cannot be filled with water.
