Acqua Pate De Verre Glass Sculpture

This slight rectangle full cast glass piece is made with pate de verre technique. The body of the piece has parallel vertical grooves that are deeply cut, creating a playful volume with light and shadow. The whitish granular glass is cast with copper and brass inserts that create a unique rich burnt gold color. The satin material of the front face creates a contrast with the polished base.
