Small Centerpiece in Matte Black and Blue by Ettore Sottsass

Designed by Ettore Sottsass, this delicate centerpiece features a sophisticated color combination. The large top bowl was given a matte black glaze, inside and out. The smaller overturned bowl supporting the piece is glazed in a deep matte blue. The small cylindrical element connecting the two bowls is in white. This refined centerpiece can be placed on a dining table, on a dresser, or even in an entryway, and it can be used to hold a small arrangement of flowers or other decorative items.
